Application for Certification

This online application is for those producers wishing to apply under the small farms program.

If you are already a member of Humane Choice e.g. Small Producer Group, you will need to log into your profile page and 'Change Membership' level in that section.

Farms must be inspected by an independent third party auditor before accreditation can be given.  Only productions systems that are already in place can be included in your certification.  Certified farms are also subject to random visits by a representative of Humane Choice.

Your abattoir must be inspected as part of your certification. Fees apply. (unless already accredited)

For Small Farms, a third party audit must be completed every 3 years and farms agree to unannounced inspections by a representative of Humane Choice at other times.

Applications will be processed upon receipt of payment of fees.

Please read the Standards carefully as refunds cannot be given once an application has been accepted. 

Refunds given prior to acceptance will incur a 20% administration fee.
