Humane Choice Accreditation - Certified True Free Range

The purpose of Humane Choice True Free Range program is to provide a credible, monitored and verified standard for the humane production of wholesome free range meat and eggs while caring for the environment in which we farm and offering assurance to consumers that these certified products meet these standards.

Certified Farms will be able to display the Humane Choice Logo to offer assurance to their customers that their product is indeed true free range and raised to the Humane Choice Standard.

The Humane Choice Standards have been developed in conjunction with the free range industry to provide these standards for the rearing, handling, transport and slaughter of animals for use in the “Humane Choice” program.

Humane Choice also acknowledges existing state and statutory requirements that are in place for animal production producers in general.  We have incorporated the necessary requirements into our Standard so that free range pork producers are able meet the specifications for Food Safety, Risk Management, Herd Health and Animal Welfare expected of a responsible pork producer.
